A collection of transcriptions of table talks given by ‘Abdu’l-Bahá in ‘Akká between 1904 and 1906 in response to questions posed by Laura Dreyfus-Barney, an American Bahá’í resident in Paris, and first published in 1908. 

This new translation, published in 2014, is an extraordinary compilation of explanations by Abdu'l-Baha of the tenets of the Baha'i Faith and of the Baha'i understanding of numerous Christian beliefs. Among the matters discussed are "the significance of divine revelation", "the unity of all the Prophets of old", the existence of God, the need for the Manifestations of God, and their influence on humanity, a number of Christian subjects from a Baha'i point of view, as well as the character, station, and powers of the Manifestations of God. Also discussed are the origin, powers, conditions of humanity and the harmony of science and religion.
