Following the 50th anniversary of the founding of FUNDAEC (Foundation for the Application and Teaching of Science) in Colombia, this book was published to share some of the insights gained. The book outlines how FUNDAEC was founded with the purpose of releasing human potentialities and integrating theory and practice. This organization now provides one of the most innovative curriculum for rural development in Latin America. This book shares how FUNDAEC supported organic and systematic growth over decades and how they came to support hundreds of thousands of students in over a dozen countries.
